The Boutillers

Now run by Rich and Drew, the brewery creates a broad range of styles using a myriad of local ingredients to achieve the best results they can. Best known up and down the country for their lager, Doki Doki, and their multiple Imperial Stouts, Boutilliers are now concentrating on creating a core range of everyday beers for their bars and shops.


California Cravings

California Cravings was created in 2018 by an American couple who missed the proper Mexican food they used to get in California. So, they decided to make their own and share these unique flavours with the area they now call home, Kent. They started at farmer’s markets and events, such as the Faversham food festival, and the freshness and love in the food won people over. Soon, California Cravings opened a permanent location at the Coachworks in Ashford, where you can still find them every Thursday – Sunday. Immediately after this, they set up a gazebo at Macknade food village which they quickly outgrew, so did food deliveries directly from the production kitchen to keep up with demand. The success of the takeaway was wonderfully overwhelming, showing that people really craved these exciting flavours! On the back of that success, California Cravings teamed up with their good friends Boutilliers to try and find a place to showcase their unique food and beer. When the Saddlers building became available, we were all thrilled, as we cannot imagine a better spot for the two Faversham based businesses to call home. The Saddlers will be open most days serving a Californian menu with a strong Mexican influence. Every dish on the menu was carefully created to exactly mimic the flavours we loved in California. We hope you will love them too. To pair perfectly with this, we will have a huge range of craft beer both on draught and many more in bottles, plus an amazing wine list carefully curated by both professionals and friends.
